Place in bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct afternoon sun which can scorch the leaves. A well-lit windowsill is ideal.
water once every 5–7 days during summer if soil is fully dry. In winter (especially North India), reduce watering to once every 2–3 weeks or stop completely if leaves shed, During monsoon, reduce watering to avoid fungal infections.

Use terracotta or clay pots — they’re breathable and ideal for Indian summers.
Pot must have a large drainage hole.

Euphorbia obesa, popularly known as the Baseball Plant, is a rare and fascinating succulent native to the arid regions of South Africa. It is highly prized among plant enthusiasts and collectors for its unique, perfectly round shape and subtle natural patterns that resemble stitched panels on a baseball.
Appearance:
The plant grows as a small, spherical, cactus-like succulent (though it is not a cactus).
Its color varies from grey-green to light brown, often with faint horizontal stripes or mottled markings.
With age, Euphorbia obesa may elongate slightly, but it largely retains its ball-like appearance.
Unlike many succulents, it does not have sharp spines, making it safe and easy to handle.
At least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Without enough sun, it may not flower and can become weak.
Prune in February–March (before growing season).
Use clean scissors to cut dry or long branches and encourage bushy, flowering growth.
It is popularly called the Baseball Plant because of its round, ball-like shape and patterns.
No, it only looks similar to a cactus, but it is actually a succulent from the Euphorbia family.
It prefers bright light or partial sun.
